This site began life as a blog to explore the issue of collaboration in the context of cities and urban areas. Almost all the big problems we face in cities need more than one organisation – or more than one type of knowledge – if we are to have any hope in solving them.
And solving the problems in cities – or realising the potential of cities – is important in an increasingly urbanised world.
I am now interested in how we can support productive connections in cities – between people, ideas and institutions. And use these connections to shape great futures.
My feeling that great connectors will be the superstars of future cities.
